Port holes… How many?

A good day today with around 100 portholes marked up along the hull, which just leaves the ones on the other decks and the watertight doors to do. However these will have to wait for a while as the next part of the build is to spray the hull with the hull red colour to a finished standard.

This has a two fold result firstly it means that once complete the model can be secured back on the temporary base to allow the paint to completely cure, and to attachment of the 6mm wide brass etch port holes can begin.  I estimate there is some 12 hours or more work with this part as each porthole has its own eyebrow, so you could say there is close on 200 items to fit.

The hull was given a good even spray which took around 3 hours, and whilst it looks good I plan to give it a final coat to ensure its even.
