CAD Drawing Begins

January 2016 sees the start of the research process reviewing all the plans and planning out the build process.

Towards the end of the month we have 50% of the hull complete as a CAD drawing and has been made using the cross sections from the 1901 drawings.  Tests are made for the CNC software prior to machining.

Having undertaken several tests and resolved a few minor flaws in the design we now have a estimated cutting time of 9 hours, and thanks to my brother Graham for his time on this project and he will be setting up a camera to make a time laps video of the cutting process (See next post of video)
