Hull Finishing

After two long days the hull has been filled, sanded and smoothed using ever finer wet and dry paper.  Then given more filler and more sanding to get a really smooth finish, finally a fine coat of primer to check for any areas that may have been missed.  The coat of primer helps to cover up any small scratches or pinholes during the finishing process.

The next job is to start marking up the deck layout and around 100 portholes, drill the deck to take the masts and chain / anchors and now the real build can begin.
