Today was another long day of about 10 hours and whilst not a lot seems to show for the work I have managed to complete the filling and sanding of the plastic where it meets the hull. This extra time spent allows me to get a good blend, and when sprayed there will be no visible joins. The canvas lockers around the deck have all been fitted and filled, the two toilet blocks are near completion with just the roof sections to complete. Then I will move in to the stabiliser bars that run the length of the hull and the outer sections of the casemates for the rear guns.
Tonight’s job is to continue drawing up more 3D parts ready to print such as the deck guns (3 pdr and the casemate barrels), then onto the mast fittings all being well.
Below are a few photos of today’s work.
