After a little bit of finishing work to the paintwork on the hull I then moved to the next job which is the fitting of 100 port holes. The brass etch is 0.2mm thick and very soft so extra care is needed not to damage these small parts, as the port holes are just over 6mm in diameter and has an eyebrow to be fitted directly above each of the Port holes.
You can get a sense of scale when you see the parts against my finger and thumb in the image below, and I managed to fix 30 of them to the hull so only 70 more to go…
