Now the bulk of the fittings are in place for the upper and boat decks it was time to move onto installing the funnel wires that help to stabilise them in rough seas, and I used fine wire for these as it made the job neater. Once these were complete I moved onto the rigging and aerial cables and think we are looking at about two days work on this part. Once complete this will be the last major job and then it will be down to the smaller details such as the guns, life boats and davits and the gangways, Oh and not forgetting the propellers!
