Today is mainly computer based work designing the parts to be 3D printed, which include capstans, bollards, the main deck guns with sighting hatch and the main funnels.
The next job on the list is to start drawing up the hatches and various vents used by the stoves on the ship and general air vents, before moving on to the vents for the boiler room. The real challenge is to design and print the mid ships guns and the rear case mate guns, due to the complex curves of these items. The barrels for all the main guns will properly be cast in resin and re-enforce with a steel pin as this will reduce the possibility of any warping over time.
