Today sees the final stages of the hull paintwork, after leaving it to cure overnight I started by rubbing down any small areas of paintwork that were sightly uneven with a dry rough cloth. This helps to reduce and over spray areas and helps remove any dust.
Thinking about how this model will finally be displayed I felt it would be good to give the model a coat of a satin finish varnish, as this allows the colours to look bright but not reflect all the that may be present when in the display case.
Here’s a few photos of the hull.
