Whilst waiting for the three sections that make up the conning tower to finish printing, I moved onto the fittings of the forward deck.
I first started to layout the 3D printed fittings before gluing them into the correct places, then started to add the brass haul anchors. I laid the chains in place but these have not been fixed yet as I still need to research how they would sit when the anchors are in the raised position.
You will see from one of the photos the conning tower templates and where the skylight and hatch will go behind the main gun, and these will be fixed into place once the conning tower is complete.
